    Walking

    Start your journey from the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, which is a prominent landmark. Head south along the main road towards Punakha. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the bridge that crosses the Punakha River. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork. Continue walking for another 500 meters, and you will see Riverfront Punakha on your right. The total walking distance is approximately 2.5 kilometers and should take around 30-40 minutes.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Wangdue Phodrang. Start from the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong and ride south along the main road towards Punakha. After crossing the bridge over the Punakha River, continue on the road for about 1.5 kilometers. At the fork in the road, take the left fork and ride for another 500 meters. Riverfront Punakha will be on your right. The cycling distance is about 2.5 kilometers and should take around 15-20 minutes.

    You can catch a local bus or shared taxi from Wangdue Phodrang to Punakha. Board the bus at the main bus station and inform the driver of your destination. The bus will take you across the bridge over the Punakha River and drop you near the fork in the road. From there, walk left for about 500 meters, and Riverfront Punakha will be on your right. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes, and the walk from the drop-off point will take about 5 minutes.
