Getting There

Walking
Start at the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, which is the most prominent landmark in the area. From the Dzong, head south on the main road (Punakha-Wangdue Road) for about 1.5 km until you reach the bridge over the Punakha River. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left fork and continue for about 10 km towards Thimphu. As you approach Thimphu, keep an eye out for local buses or shared taxis that might be heading towards your destination. You can stop at any bus stop along the way to board a bus heading to Thimphu.

Public Transport
From Wangdue Phodrang, walk to the local bus station. There are regular buses available that head to Thimphu. Board a bus heading towards Thimphu. The journey will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Thimphu, get off at the main bus terminal. From the bus terminal, Simply Bhutan is located about 1.5 km away. You can either walk or take a local taxi to reach Simply Bhutan. If walking, head east from the bus terminal on Genyen Lam for approximately 15-20 minutes until you see the entrance to Simply Bhutan.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Wangdue Phodrang. Start from the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong and follow the same route as if you were walking. Biking along the Punakha-Wangdue Road is a beautiful experience with scenic views. Continue for about 10 km towards Thimphu. Once you reach Thimphu, you can park your bicycle at a designated area and walk the remaining distance of about 1.5 km to Simply Bhutan.
