Getting There

Car
From Chacaltaya, head southeast on the main road (Ruta 1) towards La Paz. After approximately 12 km, look for a sign indicating Milluni Lake. Turn left onto the gravel road. Continue for about 3 km, where you will see another sign directing you toward Milluni Lake. Follow this road for about 2 km until you reach the lake's parking area. Please note that there may be a small parking fee; ensure you have some Bolivianos on hand.

Public Transportation
From Chacaltaya, take a taxi or a shared minibus to El Alto. This ride costs around 5-10 BOB. Once in El Alto, find a minibus heading toward Milluni. These are often marked and depart frequently. The fare is usually about 3-5 BOB. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Milluni Lake stop. After getting off, walk approximately 1 km following the signs towards the lake. Be prepared for a slight uphill trek.
