Bus
To get to Valle de la Luna, start by heading to the nearest bus stop. If you are in central La Paz, make your way to the 'Calle Potosí' bus terminal. From there, look for the buses heading towards 'Mallasa' or 'Laja'. Take any bus that indicates it will stop in Mallasa. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Mallasa, get off at the 'Valle de la Luna' stop, which is well-signposted. From the bus stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to the entrance of Valle de la Luna. Follow the signs and you will reach your destination.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi. You can easily find a taxi service in La Paz. Make sure to ask the driver to take you to Valle de la Luna, located in the Mallasa area. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic. Ensure that the taxi has a meter or agree on the fare beforehand to avoid any misunderstandings.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in the Mallasa district, you can walk to Valle de la Luna. Start at 'Calle 15 de Agosto' and head south. Continue straight until you reach 'Calle 10 de Septiembre', then turn left. Follow this street, and you will see signs directing you to Valle de la Luna. The walk is about 30 minutes and is a pleasant way to experience the local atmosphere.
