Walking
From the main square (Plaza 25 de Mayo) in Sucre, head north on Calle Aniceto Arce. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Avenida Hernando Siles. Turn left onto Avenida Hernando Siles and walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the bus terminal, Terminal de Buses Sucre. From the terminal, catch a mini-bus heading towards Chataquila. The bus will take you up the mountain, offering beautiful views along the way. After about 30-40 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at the Chataquila viewpoint. From there, you can walk to the main attraction, which is well-marked.
Public Transport (Mini-Bus)
Starting from the Plaza 25 de Mayo, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Hernando Siles. Look for a mini-bus with 'Chataquila' written on its front window. Board the bus (the fare is usually small, around 5-10 Bolivianos). The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Chataquila viewpoint, follow the signs to the main attraction. Make sure to confirm with the driver that you are getting off at Chataquila before the bus departs.
