Car
From the main city center of La Paz, head east on Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz. After approximately 7 km, take the exit onto Avenida 6 de Agosto and continue for about 4 km until you reach the intersection with Avenida Francisco Morales. Turn left onto Avenida Francisco Morales and follow it for about 8 km. You will pass through the area of Mallasa. As you approach the foothills, continue on the road until you reach the Devil Tooth trailhead. Parking may be available along the roadside.
Public Transportation
From the center of La Paz, take a minibus (commonly referred to as a 'trufi') heading towards Mallasa. Be sure to ask the driver to drop you off near the Mallasa area. Once you reach Mallasa, you may need to take a taxi or walk approximately 3 km to reach the trailhead for the Devil Tooth. It is advisable to negotiate the taxi fare beforehand, which should cost around 20-30 BOB.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the Devil Tooth trailhead, prepare for a hike. The trail can be steep and may require good hiking shoes. The hike to the summit takes about 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Ensure you bring enough water and snacks, as there are no facilities on the trail.
