If you are driving to Bjelašnica plato, you will need to start from the main road leading into the Bjelasnica Mountain area. From Sarajevo, take the M-18 road towards the suburb of Hadžići. Continue along this road until you reach the turnoff for Bjelašnica Mountain. Follow the signs for Bjelašnica, and as you get closer, look for the signs directing you to Umoljani. Once in Umoljani, you will find a road leading directly to Bjelašnica plato. Please note that some parts of the road may be narrow and winding, so drive carefully. Parking is available near the plateau, but may incur a small fee during peak tourist season.

To reach Bjelašnica plato using public transportation, you can take a bus from Sarajevo to the village of Umoljani. Buses frequently depart from the main bus station in Sarajevo. Once you arrive in Umoljani, you can either walk or take a taxi to the plateau. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and will take about 30 minutes. If you choose to take a taxi, make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey, as taxis in rural areas may not have meters.
