If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Sarajevo. Head southeast on Wilsonova Street towards Skenderija, then take the M18 highway towards Pale. Continue on M18 for about 17 kilometers. Take the exit towards Skakavac, and follow the signs to Nature Preserve Skakavac. The drive should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. There is no entrance fee for the preserve.

For public transportation, you can take a bus from Sarajevo to the nearest point. Head to the main bus station in Sarajevo and look for buses heading towards Pale. These buses run frequently. Get off at the stop closest to the Skakavac area, which may require you to ask the driver for the best stop. From there, you may need to walk about 3 kilometers to reach the preserve. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, and expect to pay a small fare (around 2-3 BAM).
