    A taxi from Sarajevo to Bukovik is a direct but more expensive option. The ride is approximately 31 km and takes around 26 minutes. Taxi fares in Sarajevo start at 2.50 KM, with an additional 2.41 KM per mile. Expect to pay between 30-40$. Alternatively, a taxi from the Sarajevo city center to the Čavljak picnic area, a popular starting point for hikes to Bukovik, will cost less. From Čavljak, follow the marked trails to Bukovik.

From Nahorevo, follow the marked trails towards Bukovik, passing through scenic landscapes. The hike is roughly 11.7 km and takes around 4-5 hours. Be prepared for a moderate level of physical exertion. Another option is to start from Čavljak, a recreational area a short drive from Sarajevo. From Čavljak, well-signed hiking trails lead to Crepoljsko and Bukovik.
