Walking
Start at the iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge) in Mostar. From the bridge, head east along the main promenade, known as the 'Bazar'. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road that leads towards the city park. Turn right at this intersection and follow the road, which will start to incline slightly. Keep walking straight for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the park area. Once you arrive at the park, look for signs directing you towards Topana.

If you're near the Mostar City Center, make your way to the famous Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, which is just a few minutes' walk from the Old Bridge. From the mosque, exit and turn left onto the main road. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you see the signs for Topana. The fortress is located on a hill, so prepare for a bit of an uphill walk. Look for the path that leads up the hill, and follow the signs to reach Topana.

If you are at the Mostar Bus Station, exit onto the main road and head east. Cross the bridge over the Neretva River and follow the road until you reach the intersection with the Bazar. Turn left at the intersection and continue straight until you reach the park area. From here, look for the signs leading up to Topana. It will take approximately 30 minutes to walk from the bus station to the fortress.
