If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Sarajevo. Head southeast on Ferhadija towards Mula Mustafe Bašeskije. Continue straight onto Wilsonova, then turn left onto Zmaja od Bosne. The History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be on your right at Zmaja od Bosne 5. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees, which may vary.

Public Transportation - Tram
To reach the museum via public transport, catch tram number 3, 4, or 6 from the main tram station in Sarajevo (located near the city center). Ride the tram towards 'Ilidža' and get off at the 'Zmaja od Bosne' stop. From there, the museum is just a short walk away. Follow Zmaja od Bosne street, and the museum will be located at number 5. Tram tickets can be purchased from kiosks or directly from the driver, costing around 1.60 BAM.

Another option is to take a bus. From the city center, find the bus station and take bus number 31 or 33 towards 'Kakanj' or 'Vogošća'. Disembark at the 'Zmaja od Bosne' bus stop. The History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a short walk from the bus stop at Zmaja od Bosne 5. Bus tickets are usually around 1.50 BAM and can be purchased at the station.
