Public Transport
From the city center (Bascarsija area), walk to the nearby tram stop at 'Bascarsija'. Take tram line 1 in the direction of 'Ilidža'. After about 25 minutes, get off at 'Ilidža' station. Once you exit the tram, head towards the bus station at 'Ilidža'. From there, look for bus number 35 or 36 that goes to 'Butmir'. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop named 'Tunel'. From the bus stop, it's a 5-minute walk to the Tunnel of Hope. Follow the signs towards 'Tunel Spasa' and you will reach the entrance.

If you are near the Sarajevo City Center (SCC), you can walk to the Tunnel of Hope. Start from the SCC and head west on 'Zmaja od Bosne' street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with 'Safeta Zajke' street. Turn right onto 'Safeta Zajke' and keep going straight for about 1 km. You'll pass by some local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards the Tunnel of Hope. When you reach the 'Tunel Spasa' sign, turn left and follow the path that leads to the entrance of the Tunnel.
