    From Sarajevo city center, take tram number 3 to Ilidža. From the Ilidža tram terminal, walk east through Park Banjska, cross one of the bridges over the river Željeznice, and continue to Velika Aleja. Walk or take a horse-drawn carriage 3.5 km along Velika Aleja to reach Vrelo Bosne. A single tram ticket costs around 2 KM. A taxi from Ilidža to Vrelo Bosne is approximately 10 KM.

    From the center of Ilidža, walk east, cross the bridge over the river Željeznice, and continue through Park Banjska to Velika Aleja. Follow Velika Aleja for 3.5 km to the entrance of Vrelo Bosne. The walk from Ilidža center to Vrelo Bosne takes approximately 50 minutes.

    From Sarajevo, follow the signs to Ilidža. From Ilidža, follow signs for Vrelo Bosne. Paid parking is available near the start of Velika Aleja. From the parking area, walk, cycle, or take a horse-drawn carriage along Velika Aleja to the park entrance. Parking costs 2 KM per hour or 5 KM for 24 hours.
