Car

If you are driving from Trebinje, head south on M6. After about 30 km, you will reach the border with Croatia. Ensure you have your passport ready for border control. Once you cross the border, continue on D8 towards Zaton. Follow the signs for Zaton and after approximately 15 km, you will arrive at Zaton beach, located at Gomila 12a. Parking may be available nearby, but check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation

To reach Zaton beach via public transport, start at the Trebinje bus station. Take a bus to Dubrovnik, which costs around 10-15 BAM (Bosnian Convertible Mark). The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once in Dubrovnik, transfer to a local bus heading towards Zaton (bus number 12 or 15). The bus ride from Dubrovnik to Zaton costs around 15 HRK (Croatian Kuna) and takes about 20 minutes. Upon arrival in Zaton, walk to Gomila 12a to arrive at the beach.
Taxi

For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Trebinje to Zaton beach. This option is more expensive, with fares typically ranging between 60-100 BAM depending on the taxi service and time of day. The taxi ride will take approximately 35-40 minutes. Ensure to agree on the price before starting your journey or ask for the meter to be used.
