Cable Car
The Dubrovnik Cable Car is a popular way to reach Mount Srđ. The lower station is located just outside the Pile Gate, the main entrance to the Old Town. From Stradun, walk up the stairs towards Buža Gate, then across the parking lot towards the cable car station. A round-trip ticket costs €27 for adults and €7 for children (4-12 years). The ride takes approximately 3 minutes.
Hiking
The Mount Srđ Hiking Trail begins northwest of the Old Town, across Jadranska Cesta, the main road. The trailhead is marked as 'Staza Prema Utvrdi Imperial' on Google Maps. The hike is approximately 2.1 kilometers (1.3 miles) each way, with an elevation gain of 255 meters (836 feet). Allow 40 minutes to 1 hour to reach the top. The hike is free.
Bus
Take bus number 17 from Pile Gate to Bosanka. The bus departs from the median in the middle of the road. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes and offers scenic views. From Bosanka, it's a short uphill walk (approximately 1.5 kilometers) to the summit. A bus ticket costs €2.5 and can be purchased on the bus.
