The ferry ride takes approximately 30-45 minutes and costs around €4.91 for adults during peak season. Upon arrival at either Donje Čelo or Gornje Čelo, follow the hiking trails through the island's pine forests. From Placet, a marked path leads to the lighthouse. Note that the stairs leading down to the lighthouse are steep and may be slippery.

    Once on Koločep Island, whether you arrive at Donje Čelo or Gornje Čelo, the lighthouse is accessible by foot. From either village, follow the well-marked hiking trails that crisscross the island. The walk from either village to Placet, the area closest to the lighthouse, takes approximately 30-45 minutes. From Placet, a smaller path leads to the lighthouse. Be prepared for a descent down a winding walkway with steep stairs, but the panoramic views are well worth the effort.
