    Start from the center of Trebinje at the main square (Trg Slobode). Head southeast on Vuka Karadžića Street towards the intersection with the main road (M6). When you reach the main road, turn left and walk along it for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance of the Old Town (Stari Grad). Continue walking through the Old Town, enjoying the sights until you see the sign for Spanish Fortress. From there, follow the trail that leads uphill to the fortress, which is approximately a 20-minute hike up a steep path.

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the center of Trebinje at the main square (Trg Slobode). Take Vuka Karadžića Street and then turn left onto the main road (M6). Follow the signs leading to Spanish Fortress, and take the trail uphill, which should take about 20 minutes to reach the fortress.
