Nogatsaa Pans Chobe Lodge is a deluxe tented camp and the only lodge in the remote Nogatsaa region of Chobe National Park. Situated approximately 80 kilometers south of the Chobe Riverfront, it serves as an ideal stop between Chobe's waterfront in the north and the popular Savute region in the southern part of the Chobe game reserve. This exclusive location offers a true in-the-bush safari experience reminiscent of yesteryear. The lodge overlooks the Kwikamba Pan, the largest natural pan in the area, ensuring abundant wildlife sightings. The twelve luxurious and spacious canvas tents are strategically placed for sweeping views of the pan. Each tent is built on a raised platform and features an en-suite bathroom, an adventurous outdoor shower, and a private viewing deck. The main area boasts an open dining space, a bar, and comfortable seating areas. Guests can also enjoy a raised viewing deck perfect for stargazing. Game drives take place on a network of roads that includes the Ngwezumba River bed and meanders through teak forests, a section of land that is rich with bird life. The area is also dotted with hides overlooking open grasslands and waterholes, enhancing the safari experience. Between game drives, guests can cool off in the pool or relax on a sun lounger while watching wildlife pass by. Evenings are often spent gathered around a blazing fire in the boma, gazing at the stars.
