Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Gaborone, head towards the University of Botswana. A good starting point is the Gaborone Bus Station. Exit the station and walk west on Paul Kruger Street, which will lead to the main road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the A1 road. Cross the road carefully and continue walking straight onto University Road. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the entrance to the University of Botswana on your left. Enter the university campus and follow the signs towards the Indoor Sports Centre, which is located approximately 500 meters from the entrance. Walking from the bus station to the University will take approximately 30 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    From Gaborone Bus Rank, several combis (local minibuses) head towards the University of Botswana. Look for combis displaying 'UB' or 'Village'. These will drop you off near the university entrance on University Road. From there, follow the walking directions to the Indoor Sports Centre. A single combi fare within Gaborone typically costs around P3.50-P5.
