Getting There

Car
From the main road in Makgadikgadi Pans, take the A3 highway heading towards Nata. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will see a turnoff for Farm PP 1. Turn left onto the dirt road and continue for about 5 kilometers. Follow the signs for Elephant Sands Lodge. Please ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel roads, as some sections may be bumpy.

If you are using public transport, take a bus from Maun to Nata. The journey will take around 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Nata, you can hire a taxi or arrange for a local shuttle service to take you to Elephant Sands Lodge. The distance from Nata to the lodge is about 15 kilometers, so the taxi fare should be approximately 150 Botswana Pula.
