The most common way to reach Moremi Game Reserve is by flying into Maun Airport (MUB), the gateway to the Okavango Delta [i]. From Maun, you can take a chartered flight directly to one of the airstrips within the reserve. Several lodges and tour operators offer these flights, which provide stunning aerial views of the delta. Prices vary depending on the distance and operator, but expect to pay between $150 to $300 USD per person for a one-way flight. Pre-booking is essential.

For adventurous travelers, self-driving to Moremi is an option, but it requires a 4x4 vehicle and experience with off-road driving [i]. The roads can be challenging, especially during the rainy season. From Maun, take the A3 towards Shorobe, then follow the signs to Moremi Game Reserve. The distance is approximately 150 km, and the drive can take 4-6 hours depending on road conditions. Park entry fees are approximately 120 BWP per person per day, plus 50 BWP per vehicle per day. Camping fees within the reserve range from 300 to 500 BWP per site per night. Fuel is available in Maun, but it's advisable to carry extra fuel and supplies.
