Getting There

    Stevensford Game Reserve is located approximately 20km from the Martin's Drift/Groblersbrug border crossing. From the border, follow the signs towards the reserve. The roads are generally accessible by 2WD vehicles, but a 4x4 is recommended, especially during the rainy season. Note that the last stretch to the reserve may be on a gravel road. Border crossing fees for Botswana road permits are approximately P152 per vehicle for single entry. Martin's Drift border post is open from 6:00 to 22:00.

Stevensford Game Reserve, a 3500-hectare private nature conservancy, lies on the banks of the Limpopo River in Botswana's famous Tuli Block. There are 12 en-suite cottages set within private camps, each with a private boma equipped for indoor and outdoor cooking. For those who prefer camping, there are two shady campsites on the banks of the Limpopo River. The reserve also offers fine dining options for those who prefer not to self-cater. The Tuli Block itself is a unique and fascinating area. Known as the 'Land of Giants,' it boasts dramatic landscapes, including massive rock formations, gorges, and the iconic Solomon's Wall. The area is also rich in history, having served as a buffer zone during the Boer War. Today, it is a haven for wildlife and a popular destination for safari enthusiasts.
