Getting There

Self-Drive

If arriving by self-drive from Johannesburg (approx. 500km), take the N1 north, then the R521 to the Pont Drift border post. Border hours are generally 8:00 to 16:00, but confirm in advance. Vehicle entry into Botswana costs approximately P152 (BWP), payable in Botswana Pula or South African Rand. Ensure you have necessary vehicle documentation.
