Getting There

Air

The most convenient way to reach Chobe National Park is by flying into Kasane International Airport (BBK), located just outside the park. From the airport, most lodges and hotels offer shuttle services. Taxis and car rentals are also available. A taxi from the airport to a lodge in Kasane costs approximately BWP 150-250.
Road

Chobe National Park can be accessed by road from neighboring countries. From Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, the drive to Kasane is approximately 80 km (1 hour) via the Kazungula Border Post. A daily bus runs from Victoria Falls to Kasane, taking around 1.5 hours. The bus fare is approximately BWP 80-120. Alternatively, a taxi or private transfer from Victoria Falls to Kasane costs approximately BWP 500-800.
Self-Drive

For self-drive safaris within Chobe National Park, a 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended, especially for exploring the Savuti region. Vehicle entry fees are approximately BWP 190 per day for a 4x4.
