Driving
From Vryburg, take the R379 north towards Vorstershoop. The reserve is located approximately 250km north of Vryburg and 7km west of Vorstershoop. Be aware that the road from Vryburg to Vostershoop can be a mix of tarred and gravel sections, with some potentially corrugated or potholed sections. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for these conditions. There are no fuel stations within the reserve, so ensure you have enough fuel before entering. Fuel is available at Vorstershoop. Entrance fees are payable upon arrival. Contact the reserve in advance for current fees. As of 2009, entrance fees were R25 per adult and R15 for children and pensioners. More recently, in 2021, the entrance fee for the vehicle was R60. Camping is R100 per person per night. It is advisable to bring cash.
