Getting There

    From Mathathane, take the Tuli Reserves Road (also known as Tswehe Road) east for approximately 15 kilometers. The entrance to Tswehe Wildlife Reserve is located just off the main road. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel roads; a 4x4 is advisable due to potential rough terrain. There are no tolls on this route.

  • Border Crossing

    If entering from South Africa via Pont Drift or Platjan border posts, be aware of the strict opening times (Pont Drift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Platjan: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM). A vehicle entry fee of approximately P260 (Botswana Pula) is payable in cash (BWP) or by credit card. Ensure you have the necessary vehicle papers and permission letters. After passing through the Botswana border control at Platjan, follow the road for 8kms and turn right at the T-junction, and it is 26km to the Tuli Wilderness entrance.
