Driving
Stevensford Game Reserve is located approximately 20km from the Martin's Drift/Groblersbrug border crossing. From the border, follow the signs towards the reserve. The roads are generally accessible by 2WD vehicles, but a 4x4 is recommended, especially during the rainy season. Note that the Martin's Drift/Groblersbrug border post is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Be aware that the border post may temporarily close due to flooding of the Limpopo River. Check current conditions before traveling. A vehicle permit is required to enter Botswana, costing approximately P165. This can be purchased at the border. Fuel is available at a filling station near the border.
