Getting There

• Metro

  If you're near the Galeria dos Estados metro station, take the metro Line 1 (the red line) towards the Central station. From Central station, transfer to Line 2 (the green line) and head towards the Praça do Relógio station. Once you arrive at Praça do Relógio station, exit the station and walk towards the Setor Cultural da República. The library is located in the Civic Area, just a short 10-minute walk from the station.

• Bus

  Find the nearest bus stop that services routes heading towards the Setor Cultural da República. You can take bus number 112 or 113, which frequently run in this area. Make sure to check the bus schedule as they may vary. Alight at the stop labeled 'Biblioteca Nacional'. The library is directly across the street from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Civic Area, you can reach the Brasília National Library by walking. Start from the National Museum of the Brazilian Republic, head southwest towards the main entrance of the library located at Setor Cultural da República, Área Cívica, Lote s/n. The path is well marked and it should take you about 5-10 minutes to walk there.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  You can also use a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber.
