Discover more about PANTANAL JAGUAR SAFARIS

Pantanal Jaguar Safaris offers immersive wildlife experiences in the northern Pantanal, specifically in the region of Porto Jofre, known as 'Jaguarland'. This area boasts the highest concentration of jaguars in the world, offering unparalleled opportunities to observe and photograph these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. The safaris primarily explore the Cuiabá River and its tributaries, including the Piquiri and Três Irmãos rivers, within the Encontro das Águas State Park. Expert guides lead boat trips, providing guests with comfortable platforms for observing jaguars along the riverbanks, as well as other wildlife such as giant otters, capybaras, caimans, and diverse bird species. While jaguar sightings are the main draw, the Pantanal's biodiversity offers a rich tapestry of wildlife encounters. The dry season, from June to November, is considered the best time to visit, as lower water levels concentrate wildlife along the rivers, increasing the chances of sightings. During this period, jaguars can be seen hunting caimans and capybaras along the exposed riverbanks. Beyond boat safaris, Pantanal Jaguar Safaris also offers land-based activities such as guided walks and night safaris, providing opportunities to spot nocturnal animals like tapirs, giant anteaters, and other elusive creatures. These tours often include stays at comfortable lodges and hotels, such as the Santa Rosa Pantanal Hotel and Piuval Lodge, offering convenient access to prime wildlife viewing areas. Pantanal Jaguar Safaris is committed to responsible tourism, ensuring that its activities contribute to the conservation of the Pantanal's unique ecosystem and support local communities.
