Local tips
- The best time to visit for jaguar sightings is during the dry season (June to October) when animals concentrate near water sources.
- Bring binoculars for optimal wildlife viewing, as animals are often at a distance.
- Pack lightweight clothing for warm days and a warm layer for cooler nights, especially during the dry season.
- Consider booking tours in advance, especially during peak season, to secure accommodations and preferred activities.
- Respect the wildlife by keeping a safe distance, never feeding animals, and allowing them to move freely.
