    Getting There

    Car

    From Alto Paraíso de Goiás, drive southeast on GO-118 towards São Jorge. After approximately 18 km, you will reach São Jorge. Continue through the village for about 3 km until you see signs for Cachoeira do Segredo. Turn left onto the dirt road and follow it to the parking area near the trailhead. Note that the dirt road is not in good condition. Parking is available at the trailhead. From the parking lot, the hike to the waterfall is approximately 2 km.

    Public Transport

    Take a bus from Brasília to Alto Paraíso de Goiás. In Alto Paraíso, take a shared taxi or van to São Jorge. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Cachoeira do Segredo trailhead. The shared taxi/van ride costs approximately R$30-R$50. From the trailhead, hike approximately 2 km to reach the waterfall.

    Walking

    From the parking area/trailhead, the hike to Cachoeira do Segredo is approximately 2 km along a well-marked trail. The trail is relatively easy but can be rocky in some areas. The hike involves several river crossings, so be prepared to get your feet wet. Follow the signs and ropes that guide you along the trail to the waterfall.
