From Alto Paraíso de Goiás, take GO-239 towards Vila de São Jorge for approximately 8 km. Look for signs indicating the entrance to Fazenda São Bento on the left. After entering the farm, drive 4 km on a dirt road to the parking area. From there, a 1.5 km trail leads to the waterfall. Entrance fee to Fazenda São Bento (includes access to Almécegas I, Almécegas II, and São Bento Waterfall): R$70.

Take a bus from Alto Paraíso de Goiás towards Vila de São Jorge. Get off near the entrance to Fazenda São Bento (ask the driver to be sure). From there, it's a 4 km walk/hike on a dirt road to the parking area and then a 1.5 km trail to the waterfall. Consider hiring a local guide or taxi from Alto Paraíso for convenience.
