If you are starting from the central area near the Mercado Público, head east towards Rua Dom Jaime Câmara. Turn right onto Rua Dom Jaime Câmara and continue straight until you reach Avenida Jornalista Rubens de Arruda Ramos (also known as Beira Mar). Turn left onto Beira Mar and walk along the waterfront for about 10 minutes until you reach Praça Getúlio Vargas on your right.
