The hike is roughly 5 kilometers and typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on fitness levels. The trail winds through varied terrain, including lush forest and rocky stretches. Ensure you have proper hiking shoes and sufficient water. Be aware that the final ascent to the summit involves some steep and rocky sections.

Boat and Walking
An alternative approach involves taking a boat from Pântano do Sul to Lagoinha do Leste Beach (approximately R$50, though prices may vary). From the beach, follow the directions above for the walking portion to Pico Top Crown. This option shortens the overall hiking distance but adds the cost of the boat trip.

Public Transport and Walking
From Florianópolis city center, take bus line 410 to Terminal Integração Rio Tavares (R$12). Transfer to bus line 563 to Pântano do Sul. From Pântano do Sul, walk to Início - Trilha da Lagoinha do Leste on Rua Manoel Pedro Oliveira. Follow the trail to Lagoinha do Leste Beach and then continue to Pico Top Crown / Lookout. Alternatively, during the summer season, boats may be available from Pântano do Sul to Lagoinha do Leste Beach (approximately R$50), followed by the hike to Pico Top Crown.
