The trail is not difficult, though it involves some steep sections. As you ascend, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the stunning Conceição Lagoon and the surrounding landscape. The dolmen, a unique rock formation, marks the solstices and equinoxes, adding a touch of mystique and historical significance to the experience. These stones are perfectly aligned with the specific dates of sunrise and sunset. Adnir Ramos, a local fisherman, discovered these alignments in 1988 during his fishing trips. His passion for understanding the rock art of the Santa Catarina coastline led to the creation of IMMA, dedicated to preserving and researching the area's archaeological and astrophysical aspects.
