If you are further away from the Centro area, take a bus to the Terminal Rodoviário Rita Maria (Centro bus terminal). From there, exit and head north on R. Dom Jaime Câmara, then turn right onto R. Conselheiro Mafra. Customs Square is approximately a 15-minute walk from the terminal. A bus tour costs R$4.50.
