Fabulous hike and guide!

While our cruise port day here, we opted for the exercise that this hike offered. Over 13k steps in fact! Quintino and team were extremely helpful in providing more details, meeting us, offering snacks, drinks, walking sticks, and leg guards too. He even had a first aid kit for when my husband scratched his knee. It is quite a hike up and down the mountain and it was slippery/muddy due to recent rain. The waterfall was very popular and quickly filled up so go early if that is a goal. Although we didn't make it to the beach restaurant since we took a different path, all of the snacks offered plenty of energy boosts. The boat ride back to town was enjoyable and we returned in plenty of time to return to the ship. The boat ride coordination was seamless, we even had some time at the small Felucitas beach to walk in the clear water, rest, and enjoy a cold beer before our return. Thanks team!

A friend and I wanted to hike on Ilha Grande, and we were recommended Ilha Grande Hiking. Bruno helped us and suggested this 6-day hike. It was perfect for what we were looking for: experiencing its trails, from the most popular to the most isolated, learning a lot about the island's rich history that dates back to D. Pedro II, enjoying the beautiful beaches, talking to the local people, with other tourists, but also have that moment of peace. Bruno was an excellent guide, always telling a story, drawing attention to the sound of a bird or pointing out an animal. The logistics of the program are also perfect, allowing you to add some other boat attractions, such as the Acaiá Cave, and stops for lunch (the traditional fish with rice, beans, farofa and salad). Super worth it! I recommend it to everyone who loves trails and challenges!
