    From the main beach area of Itacaré (Praia da Concha), head southeast towards the road to Ilhéus (BA-001). Follow this road for approximately 9 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the start of the trail to Jeribucaçu Beach. The trailhead, a dirt track, will be on your right. The walk through the forested jungle to the beach takes around 30 minutes and involves a steep decline. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. There is no cost for the walking access.

  • Public Transportation

    From Itacaré, take a local bus or van heading towards Ilhéus. These buses usually depart from the main bus terminal in Itacaré and will be marked with their destination. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to the Jeribucaçu Beach trail, about 9 km outside of Itacaré on the BA-001. The bus fare typically ranges from R$5 to R$10. From the drop-off point, follow the walking directions to the beach. Then follow the walking directions to the beach.

  • Taxi/Ride-Share

    From Itacaré, take a taxi or ride-sharing service to the entrance of the Jeribucaçu Beach trail, located approximately 9 kilometers outside of Itacaré on the BA-001. The taxi ride should take around 15 minutes and cost approximately R$30-R$40. From the taxi drop-off point, follow the walking directions to the beach.
