Prainha, often lauded as one of Brazil's most beautiful beaches, is a true gem nestled in Itacaré, Bahia. This small, symmetrical bay boasts rolling green hills on either side and a lush coconut plantation in the center, creating a picture-perfect tropical landscape. The beach's untouched nature is a major draw; it remains free of large-scale development, preserving its serene and secluded ambiance.The journey to Prainha is part of its allure. The beach is accessible via a moderate 30–45 minute trail that begins at Ribeira Beach, winding through the Atlantic rainforest, crossing small cascades and waterholes. This adds a sense of adventure and discovery to the experience. Alternatively, a shorter, 10-minute trail is available through the Villa de São José Condominium, though it requires paying a day-use fee at the local restaurant.Prainha's clear waters and consistent waves make it a favorite among surfers.
