Getting there

Public Transport

From the main bus station (Rodoviária de Itacaré), look for local vans or 'mototaxis' heading towards 'Cachoeira'. The fare is around R$5, and the journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Cachoeira da Usina. From the drop-off point, a short walk leads to the entrance.

Car

From the center of Itacaré, head northwest on Rua 1 de Maio towards Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight onto BA-001. After about 5 km, look for signs for Cachoeira da Usina and turn left onto a dirt road. Follow this road for about 1 km until you reach the entrance of the waterfall. There is a parking area where you can park your car, with a potential parking fee of R$10.
