Public Transport
From Itacaré, take a local bus or 'van' towards Rio do Engenho. These can be found near the main square or bus station. The fare is around R$5-10. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Cachoeira do Cleandro. From there, walk about 20-30 minutes through the forest to reach the waterfall. Wear comfortable shoes.
Car
From Itacaré, head south on BA-001 towards Ilhéus. Drive approximately 12 km until you reach the intersection with the road to Rio do Engenho. Turn left and continue for about 3 km until you see signs for Cachoeira do Cleandro. The waterfall is a short walk from the parking area. Be aware that the road may be unpaved, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. Parking costs R$10.
Boat Tour
Take a boat from Praia da Coroa in Itacaré. Boat tours typically cost around R$70-R$185 per person. The boat ride takes you through the Rio das Contas and mangrove forests. In addition to the boat tour fee, there is a R$20 entrance fee for the waterfall, payable in cash or card.
