    Discover more about Iguazu Falls

Iguazu Falls, or Iguaçu Falls, is one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders, straddling the border between Argentina and Brazil. The majority of the falls lie within Argentina. This immense system comprises 275 individual waterfalls, highlighted by the awe-inspiring Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat), the largest and most iconic of the cascades. Located within the Misiones Province of Argentina, the falls are surrounded by a lush, subtropical rainforest, adding to the area's rich biodiversity. Visitors can explore the falls via a network of well-maintained trails and walkways, providing different perspectives and levels of immersion. The Circuito Superior (Upper Trail) offers panoramic views from the top of the falls, while the Circuito Inferior (Lower Trail) winds through the base, allowing for up-close encounters with the cascading water. For the adventurous, boat trips are available that take you right to the base of the falls, guaranteeing an unforgettable, and wet, experience. The falls are accessible year-round, with each season offering a unique experience. The summer months (December to February) bring high water levels and powerful cascades, while the cooler months (June to August) offer more comfortable temperatures for exploring the trails. A visit during the full moon offers a unique opportunity to see the Devil's Throat illuminated under the moonlight.Beyond the falls themselves, the surrounding Iguazu National Park is home to diverse flora and fauna, including numerous bird species, monkeys, and coatis. The park also offers opportunities to learn about the indigenous Guarani culture and the region's history.
