If you are staying nearby, walking to Praça dos Três Poderes is a great option. Make your way to the square by following the main avenues leading towards it, such as Eixo Monumental. Once you reach the square, look for the 'Pira da Liberdade' monument, which is a prominent landmark surrounded by green areas and other historical buildings.

Public Transport

To reach Praça dos Três Poderes by public transport, take the Brasília Metro Line 1 (Blue Line) towards 'Cental' from any metro station in the city. If starting from the 'Estação Brasília' (the main station), board the train there. Travel until you reach the 'Estação 102 Sul'. When you exit the station, follow the signs to the bus terminal. At the 'Estação 102 Sul' bus terminal, look for buses heading towards 'Praça dos Três Poderes' or ask locals for the right bus line (typically, buses labeled 'Esplanada dos Ministérios' will take you there). Board the bus and remain on it until you reach the stop closest to Praça Três Poderes. The metro ticket is BRL 5.50, and the bus ticket is approximately BRL 3.80.

Taxi/Ride-Share

Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and 99 are readily available in Brasília. A taxi ride from Brasília Airport (BSB) to the city center (Eixo Monumental) costs approximately BRL 45. From the city center to Praça dos Três Poderes, expect to pay around BRL 35-45. Uber has an initial fare of R$ 2.70, plus R$ 1.25 per km and R$ 0.18 per minute. Keep an eye out for designated parking spaces for taxis and ride-sharing vehicles at the airport and shopping malls.
