Parque Dona Lindu, inaugurated in December 2008, has become a cherished leisure, sports, and arts complex in Recife. Designed by the iconic Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, the park stands out with its distinctive contemporary architectural style. The Luiz Mendonça Theatre and the Janete Costa Art Gallery, both designed by Niemeyer, host various shows, dance and music festivals, exhibitions, and family attractions, many of which are free.
