Getting There

  • Metro and Bus

    From Copacabana, take the Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards 'General Osório'. Get off at the 'Cinelândia' station. From there, transfer to the bus at the 'Cinelândia' bus terminal. Take the bus number 33 or 34 towards 'Niterói'. The bus will take you across the Rio-Niterói Bridge. Get off at the stop closest to 'Jurujuba'. From the bus stop, walk along Estr. Gen. Eurico Gaspar Dutra, and you will reach Adam Beach within about 10-15 minutes.

  • Ferry and Bus

    From Praça XV in downtown Rio, take a ferry to Niterói. Ferries run frequently, and the trip takes about 20 minutes. Upon arrival at the Niterói ferry terminal, exit and catch a bus marked 'Jurujuba'. The bus will take you directly to Adam Beach. Get off at the stop nearest to 'Estr. Gen. Eurico Gaspar Dutra'. Walk a short distance towards the beach, which is located at Estr. Gen. Eurico Gaspar Dutra, 2621-2783.

  • Riding a Bicycle

    If you prefer a more active approach, you can rent a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing stations in Rio. Follow the path from Copacabana along the beach promenade to Ipanema, then continue toward the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. From Lagoa, head towards the Rio-Niterói Bridge, where there are bike lanes. Once you cross into Niterói, continue riding along Estr. Gen. Eurico Gaspar Dutra until you reach Adam Beach. This ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
