Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are starting from Copacabana, head to the Siqueira Campos metro station (Cardeal Arcoverde Station) and take the subway towards the direction of the 'Centro' (Downtown) line. Get off at the 'Cinelândia' station. After exiting the station, walk towards the direction of 'Rua do Lavradio', then take a left to 'Rua do Catete'. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 'Rua Camerino'. The Hanging Garden of Valongo will be on your right.

  • Bus

    From the neighborhood of Santa Teresa, head to the main street and catch the bus number 1 or 2 that goes towards 'Centro'. Ask the bus driver to let you off at 'Rua Camerino'. From there, it's a short walk to the Hanging Garden of Valongo, which will be located at 'R. Camerino - Saúde, Rio de Janeiro - RJ, 20080-011'.
