Walking

From Leblon Beach (Posto 12), walk 350 meters uphill towards Avenida Niemeyer. The *mirante* is located at the end of the beach on top of the rocks.

Public Transport

Take the Metro to Antero de Quental station. From there, it's approximately a 10-minute walk to Mirante do Leblon. Alternatively, several bus lines pass near Mirante do Leblon. Bus lines include Integrated 9 Piabas/Rio Sul, Line 525 General Osório/Alvorada, Troncal 4 Bus Station/São Conrado, and Troncal 9 (line 109) towards São Conrado.

Mirante do Leblon, situated at the end of Leblon Beach where Avenida Niemeyer begins, is a wooden deck built on rocks, providing a stunning vantage point of Rio de Janeiro's coastline. Inaugurated in 1944, it has evolved from a simple fishing spot to a beloved tourist destination.From the *mirante*, you can see the entire waterfronts of Leblon, Ipanema and São Conrado. To the left, the view extends over Leblon and Ipanema beaches, reaching the Arpoador rock and even the Christ the Redeemer statue. To the right, the Morro Dois Irmãos hills and the Vidigal favela stand out. The viewpoint is known for its unforgettable sunsets.The *mirante* is easily accessible and offers free entry, making it a favorite among *cariocas* (locals) and tourists. Kiosks on site sell refreshments and snacks. The location is pet-friendly and also attracts those who enjoy recreational fishing.
