Public Transport
From Rio's city center, take the VLT (Light Rail Vehicle) to the Parada dos Museus or Utopia Aquario stations, both within a short walking distance of Rio Star. The VLT fare is approximately R$4.30. Alternatively, use the Metro to Carioca Station, then transfer to the VLT. Several bus lines also serve the Porto Maravilha area.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are readily available throughout Rio de Janeiro. A short taxi ride from the city center to Rio Star will typically cost between R$20 and R$30, depending on traffic. Ensure the meter is running or agree on a fare beforehand.
