Start your journey by taking the Metro to the 'Botafogo' station (Line 1 - Light Blue Line). From the station, take Exit 'Praia de Botafogo' and walk towards the beach. Once at the beach, follow the waterfront to your left until you reach the end of the promenade.

From Botafogo beach, look for the bus stop and take bus number 511, which will take you directly to Urca. Alight at the stop 'Praia Vermelha' where you can see the entrance to the trail.

From the 'Praia Vermelha' bus stop, walk towards the entrance of the Trilha do Morro da Urca, located at Av. Pasteur, 520 - Urca. The trailhead is clearly marked and will lead you up to Morro da Urca.

Cable Car
For a more scenic route, consider taking the cable car from the base of the mountain at the 'Bondinho' station located nearby. This will take you directly to the top of Morro da Urca, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city.
