Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the main area of Ipanema, make your way towards the beach. Head west on Rua Visconde de Pirajá until you reach the beach. Once at the beach, turn left (south) and walk along the beachfront promenade, enjoying the views. Continue walking along the beach until you reach the intersection with Avenida Francisco Bhering. Garota de Ipanema is located at Av. Francisco Bhering, 2-224 in Arpoador, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the Ipanema beach area.

• Public Transport - Bus

  From the Ipanema region, you can take a bus to get closer to Garota de Ipanema. Head to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards Arpoador. You can take the BRS 2 (Bus Rapid Service) route that goes down Avenida Vieira Souto. After about 5-10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Avenida Francisco Bhering'. From there, it’s a short walk to Garota de Ipanema, located at Av. Francisco Bhering, 2-224. The bus fare is approximately R$ 4.60.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental stations in Ipanema. Head towards the beachfront promenade and cycle south along the cycle path. This ride will take you about 10-15 minutes to reach Garota de Ipanema. Make sure to follow the cycle path markers. Once you arrive at Avenida Francisco Bhering, you will find Garota de Ipanema located at 2-224. Rental prices typically range from R$ 15 to R$ 30 per hour.
